HEC-TRIUM Masterclass & HR Breakfast with Prof. Oliver Gottschalg in London

The HEC UK office and Alumni community in the UK organized an exclusive evening and Masterclass with HEC's Private Equity specialist, Professor Oliver Gottschalg, titled :

"Smart Data in PE: How can advanced analytics support investment decision-making, today and in the future ?"

50 HEC Alumni, externals participants, partners of all seniority, professionals in Private Equity, Venture Capital and other alternative professionals attended a Masterclass by Prof. Oliver Gottschalg who addressed topics such as:

  • demystifying data on PE: How to use data to get directionally accurate insights? How to use smart data to understand a General Partner’s DNA?
  • a guide to future returns: How to ensure performance persistence - what works, what does not and why?
  • a look into the future: How might Artificial Intelligence shape Private Equity investment processes?

A huge thanks goes to HEC corporate partner SG Kleinwort Hambros for hosting this event at their office, 8 Saint James‘s Square in SW1Y 4JU London.

Professor Oliver Gottschalg is an Associate Professor & Academic Dean of the TRIUM Global Executive Programme (NYU, LSE & HEC joint degree).

The masterclass was followed by a Q&A with the audience and finished off with networking drinks that allowed participants to spend an enjoyable evening, with valuable takeaways and good follow-ups opportunities.

On the next day, Prof. Oliver Gottschalg shared the results of his research on Gender Diversity in PE to 20 finance professionals working or involved in diversity within their company. The breakfast allowed for many rich exchanges.
