An inspiring back to school for MBA scholarship students
As every year, we were pleased to invite scholarship recipients to a scholarship award ceremony, in the presence of a guest speaker, Sylvain Goupille (MBA.05). This was a historic start since, to date, the MBA class of January 2022 has the largest number of students but also of beneficiary students. Indeed, 77 MBA students from 37 different countries have received a scholarship of excellence.
if this year 42% of the students of the class of January 2022 were able to benefit from a scholarship of excellence, it is thanks to the generosity of our donors, corporate sponsors and former MBA students like Sylvain Goupille, guest speaker of this ceremony. The former HEC student, founder of October - Impact now! and Le Printemps des Terres came to share its experience and exchange with students on Thursday, January 20 in the Pierre Bellon auditorium on campus.
The students were delighted to hear the testimony of Sylvain Goupille and passionate about his story. In particular, the donor explained why and when he chose to do the HEC MBA. They were able to ask him many questions about his career and his profession, from the use of impact financing in developing countries to the means to avoid greenwashing. Some even stayed after the ceremony to have a more personal exchange with him and deepen the discussion.
