Meet the HEC Paris Masters Class of 2022-2023

After several years of preparation and intense studying, the new cohort of master's students has embarked on a new and exciting journey at HEC Paris. Coming from all over the world, with a wide array of backgrounds, and lofty career aspirations, they are enjoying a thrilling ride into the endless opportunities the school has to offer. As they settle into campus, we caught up with some of them to learn more about what motivated them to join HEC Paris, their reflections on the first weeks and their expectations for the year ahead.

Giulia Kobia – Italy & Belgium - Master in Management

"HEC Paris is the perfect environment to immerse yourself in your studies and your extra-curricular life. The proximity to your friends, the large number of associations and opportunities play an overwhelming role in positively shaping the HEC experience and ensuring personal success. I chose the MiM program for two important reasons: flexibility and diversity. The program will help me gain a solid foundation in business and dive into various business areas to figure out what I would like to specialize in. I also appreciate the diversity of academic backgrounds that allows for an exchange of views on business issues from the perspective of different disciplines."

"Apart from being ranked N°1 in Europe, I chose HEC Paris for 3 main reasons. First, the alumni network in Ivory Coast. I intend to go back to Ivory Coast and build a start-up academy. HEC and its strong presence in my home country will greatly assist me in achieving my goals. Second, I wanted a two-year full on-campus program to be able to discover various cultures. Third, I received great feedback from some Ivorian students who graduated from HEC with almost the same background as me.
