Support HEC

Over 25 nationalities represented in the january 2023 cohort!

In early January, the HEC Foundation held the traditional scholarship ceremony for the new MBA students freshly arrived on campus. What a pleasure to see the diverse range of profiles and backgrounds represented among the merit scholarship recipients!

Fondation-cérémonie-boursesMBA-janv23

At the start of the new January semester, 84 new MBA students received support from the Foundation in the form of donation-funded scholarships. For many talented candidates, it can be very difficult to obtain a loan to fund an overseas MBA course of the highest quality. A scholarship can make a real difference in allowing students to access an academic experience that will impact their professional trajectory and future life.

It’s even more important that these scholarships help support cultural and international diversity; it makes HEC a unique environment for training the enlightened leaders of the open and multicultural society of tomorrow.

Eloïc Peyrache, Dean of the School

Our sincerest thanks go out to all donors for contributing to HEC Paris’s international diversity and allowing us to attract the best students from all over the world.

C.Cuvillier-fondation

Christophe Cuvillier (H.84), is one of the Foundation’s loyal donors, committed to supporting the School’s projects for over 10 years, and also a member of the HEC Paris International Advisory Board.

He was the ceremony’s guest of honor and came to the campus to share his experience with the MBA students. The future graduates also had a unique opportunity to talk and exchange with him during a question and answer session in the Bellon amphitheater and the cocktail reception following the ceremony.
The chair of the SMCP board (Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot & Fursac) discussed his various experiences as director of major international groups, such as Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and Fnac, guided by great curiosity, sincerity and entrepreneurial drive:

I’ve always said “yes” to opportunities in my professional life and I recommend always saying “yes” to people offering you new challenges in your future career. One of the keys to life, whether professional or personal, is to speak with your heart and be sincere.

Christophe Cuvillier (H.84)

His desire to share and authenticity shone through in his speech: the students were highly attentive, impressed by his brilliant professional career and heedful of his precious advice, as shown by the thanks expressed by a student below. A huge thank you to Christophe Cuvillier for his generous, loyal support of the School and the Foundation, and for his time spent with the students today!
Scholarship ceremonies are always important moments for students joining HEC, and there was no shortage of recognition and pride as they each came up one by one to the amphitheater stage to collect their certificates, warmly applauded by their classmates.
