Students from the most prestigious universities around the world are coming together for the HEC Business Game (HBG)

The 10th and 11th of April, 200 students selected from the best universities worldwide go head to head in a large-scale Business Game organized on the HEC Paris campus.

The HEC Business Game is characterized as a connecting event between students and the business world, inviting the student participants to tackle real life business cases and to provide adapted solutions to the problems which they are faced with.

The first edition of the HEC Business Game is already expected to be very international, as it will greet students of 33 different nationalities coming from numerous foreign prestigious universities (Bocconi, Cambridge, Oxford, King's College, NHH (Norwegian School of Economics), Stockholm School of Economics, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Princeton, University of Pennsylvania- The Wharton School, Lahore, The Chinese University of Honk Kong...).

Over 2 days the competitors will have to solve different practical cases sponsored by large businesses and organized around 6 challenges: the online challenge (allowing the candidates to be selected for the event), the strategy challenge, the negotiation challenge, the pitch challenge, the marketing challenge, and the eloquence challenge. For each of these challenges, the students, registered in pairs, will be regrouped randomly into teams of 6 and will be assisted by professionals.

During the second day, the teams will present their work to the juries composed of members of partner companies.
The event will finish off with a prize-giving ceremony, followed by a dinner which will be an excellent networking experience for the participants.

An original and talent-revealing event, the HEC Business Game is incorporated into the framework of the Alliance of European Business Games including 5 Business Schools (Solvay Business School (the university which initiated these Business Games), St Gallen, Durham University, and Nova Business School.)

The HBG relies on the presence of 4 prestigious partners: Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Banking, Gameloft, Lagardère and Lufthansa.

The highly dynamic host team is formed of 19 French and international students from the Grande Ecole and aims to make the HEC Business Game into a major event in the world of business competitions organized by students.
