Fidji H.08

Fondation- fidji simo - profil

My name is Fidji Simo and I’m the vice president of product at Facebook where I lead video, monetization and games.
I studied at HEC from 2004 to 2008 and I was a lucky recipient of a scholarship.
I grew up in a family of fishermen, where no one graduated from high school.
So for me, getting this support during my time at HEC was really critical.
Thanks to HEC I got an internship at Ebay and fell in love with technology. And then, thanks to HEC’s partnership with UCLA I spend the last year of HEC in Los Angeles and fell in love with the United States. So I convince Ebay to give me a job in California. And then, a couple of years later, I joined Facebook which really propelled my career.
So I can trace back a lot of my success today, to my time at HEC and my only hope is that many other students benefit from scholarships like I did.
