Social Impact Project
The Social Impact Project provides an opportunity for students to give back to the local community, while practicing skills they’ve been honing during their studies.
Use Your Leadership Skills to Give Back

Groups of students work on a charitable project for an entire day. From the morning planning brief to completion of the project in the evening, you’ll use your leadership skills to work in teams to meet the day’s objectives.
In partnership with Splash, which was founded by Simon Poole, a former member of the British military, the Social Impact Project is an experience designed to test and strengthen your leadership and teamwork skills on a start-to-finish, one-day project that has a lasting impact on the community.
With guidance from Splash mentors, students plan their approach and check-in during the day with all teams to ensure they are on track and meeting the decided-upon goals.
Participants will apply team-building skills to a real-world scenario for a good cause. In one day, HEC Paris MBA students have constructed entire outdoor gazebos and sports structures for charitable institutions like Les Sauvegardes des Yvelines, which supports social workers and people in difficulty throughout the region.
HEC Paris MBA students come from all over the world and call it home for 16 months. The Social Impact Project provides an opportunity for them to give back to the local community, while practicing skills they’ve been honing during their studies.
