HEC Paris leads development program for Colas
HEC Paris recently organized a study trip to South Korea for the French company Colas, taking place 22nd to 29th October 2016
COLAS, a leader in transport infrastructure, has worked in partnership with HEC Paris for the last fifteen years to aid the development of its managers and executives at key stages of their careers. They have entrusted HEC Paris with the design and delivery of three programs at its business school. Each program is composed of three or four modules that are run over a period of one year with the aim of providing participants with a complete overview of the management of a company, leadership and strategy. Over the last 15 years over 600 Colas executives have successfully completed one of these programs.
HEC Paris Professors and Co-Academic Directors Michel Fiol, Hélène Musikas and Hervé Coyco have worked hand in hand with Colas to design one of these custom programs, entitled ‘Université 4’, in order to ensure that Colas group’s objective of managerial transformation is reached. The program is an individual learning journey in which all participants can develop their managerial approach and skills within the Colas group. It is also a collective learning journey that encourages the creation of a common frame of reference and lasting bonds between participants.
Beyond the benefit of the knowledge, the listening, the sharing, the self-discovery and working better together are the key success factors of these programs.”
– Mr. Philippe Tournier, Human Resources Director, Colas
The study trip to South Korea is a key element of the program. It provides participants with a comprehensive learning experience that combines the acquisition of knowledge, sharing experience, workshops in sub groups, company visits, cultural activities and project work.
