Serco Europe, a space industry leader with over 40 years’ experience in supporting the space sector announces a partnership with the prestigious French university HEC Paris to bring Space Data at the heart of the school’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship centre.
As part of this partnership, Serco will enable an ecosystem of 400 HEC Paris professors, researchers, and recognised experts as well as dozens of incubated startups to access Earth Observation data through Serco’s cloud platform for Earth Observation ONDA-DIAS.
This partnership further demonstrates Serco Europe’s commitment to expand and foster the use of space data to researchers, start-ups, and non-expert users. Having access to Serco’s integrated cloud infrastructure will enable the development of space-data data driven projects, research, and services.
Guido Vingione, Serco Space Business Development Director says about the partnership: “We are proud to partner with HEC Paris, and truly believe that this project will be a driver for innovation” he adds “such partnerships are key to capture and nurture the importance of Earth Observation data, attract new potential consumers of space data and services.”
Inge Kerkloh-Devif, Senior Executive Director of the HEC Paris - Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center says about the new partnership: “The launch of the Global CDL Space is a great opportunity to bring together the major global players in space entrepreneurship today. Their coming together will encourage innovation as we conceive it at HEC Paris, and thus have an ever-greater impact.”
