NEW PARTNERSHIP: Addressing Climate Change in Business Education
As the climate crisis continues to transform the global economy, this partnership is set to provide HEC Paris MBA students with the necessary tools and knowledge to lead in a climate-conscious world. HEC Paris is partnering with ClimateCAP, an initiative founded in 2016 by the Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment (EDGE) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
HEC Paris Joins Forces with ClimateCAP and +35 Business Schools Partners to Shape the Climate-Smart Leaders of Tomorrow
ClimateCAP brings together over 35 top business schools, including renowned institutions such as Duke University, Harvard University, The Wharton School, Yale School of Management, and MIT Sloan School of Management. With this collaboration, HEC Paris, through the Sustainability & Organizations Institute, will offer students access to innovative educational materials, curriculum exchange, and experiential learning opportunities designed to create climate-smart leaders.
“Collaborating with ClimateCAP is an incredible opportunity for us” said Fernando Javier Diaz Lopez, Ph.D., Executive Director of the S&O Climate & Earth Center at HEC Paris. “This unique network of leading business schools provides our MBA students and faculty with a wealth of knowledge and resources to better understand the intersection of climate and business. The Climate and Earth Centre of S&O is honored to support our MBA program in championing this initiative.”
Through this partnership, we will:
- Connect with faculty and staff across top MBA programs who are working on similar initiatives
- Participate in collaborative sessions focused on best practices in climate education within the MBA context
- Access ClimateCAP’s events and resources, enhancing our own MBA program
With this new collaboration, HEC Paris continues its commitment to preparing the next generation of business leaders to navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by climate change.
