Since 2009, HEC Paris and DowJones have joined forces to publish regular rankings of private equity firms under the direction of HEC Paris Professor Oliver Gottschalg who's research focuses on the strategic logic and the performance determinants of private equity investments.

Over the past years, we expanded the coverage beyond the Small Cap Buyout space into mid-market and small-cap buyouts, but also into VC funds, Fund of Funds and Secondary Funds.
