Martine Laval teaches in different HEC Executive Education programs and she is currently the Program Director of the Certificate Program "Entraînement aux Responsabilités Managériales".

A consultant in management, Martine Laval has been involved in auditing, consulting, coaching and training for public and private companies in various sectors since 1978. Specifically, she concentrates on supporting top executive teams in dealing with change, creating team cohesion and creating strategic vision. Martine Laval has also built an expertise in the medical sector as a consultant to projects facilitating the doctor/patient relationship. She regularly teaches in various schools, universities or training associations. In 1988, Martine Laval co-founded a consultant network specialized in Management.

Martine Laval started her career as a school teacher in mathematics. She then turned to Sofres Communication as a researcher in charge of marketing campaigns and to ADA, a subsidiary of the "Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation", to work on employment issues.

Often asked to contribute in the press, Martine Laval is also the author of various books on personal development, including N'écoutez pas votre cerveau (InterEditions, 2010).

She is trained in both Mathematics and Social Psychology (Master's degrees).
