The HEC Paris Summer School in Corporate Finance is ideal for students coming from non-financial backgrounds, as its intensive syllabus equips all participants with fundamental financial knowledge. Also, the program provides an opportunity for everyone to apply what they've learned through real-world case studies, each presenting its own set of complex challenges. Moreover, the extraordinary level of teaching and the professors' high-level of professional experience, along with valuable insights from guest speakers, make all topics even more accessible and interesting.

Currently, I am an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in History, Politics, and Economics. After graduating, I aspire to deepen my technical knowledge of corporate finance principles by pursuing a Master's degree in the subject, hence, the Summer School at HEC Paris was a perfect fit for me. From day one, we delved into the financials of prominent companies and how they align with their business models. Additionally, we constantly engaged in case studies covering topics such as financial analysis, company valuation, and M&A financing, allowing me to immediately implement what I have learned during class.

Furthermore, the diverse backgrounds of my cohort enriched the entire learning experience. Collaborating with 50 like-minded individuals from over 25 nationalities, and collectively solving and presenting case studies enhanced my abilities to present and work effectively in a team setting—crucial skills in the corporate world.

Another key aspect of the program was the guest lectures by prominent industry professionals. Each speaker provided valuable insights into the real-world application of corporate finance concepts and challenged us with case studies to work on in class. These interactions not only broadened my understanding but also inspired me to think critically and creatively when approaching financial challenges.
