CALL FOR PAPERS

Pre-colloquium Development Workshop on Experimental Research in Organization Studies at EGOS in Athens

Submission deadline: 31 March 2015

European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS) is a scholarly association which aims to further the theoretical and/or empirical advancement of knowledge about organizations, organizing and the contexts in which organizations operate. As a collective, one of its main aims is to maintain and provide a voice for the critical and analytical approaches of its members to the study of organization worldwide.

The purpose of this PDW is that scholars present an experimental research project related to institutional theory or to other streams of research on organizations. The organizers welcome the submission of early-stage projects. An outstanding set of facilitators will help participants to develop their projects. Facilitators are Eva Boxenbaum, Heiko Breitsohl, Vern Glaser, Derek Harmon, Aafke Raaijmakers, Fei Song, Leigh Tost, Patrick Vermeulen, and PeterWalgenbach. This is an excellent opportunity if participants want to “experiment” with experimental research, in order to advance the understanding of institutional processes and organizations.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday, July 1st 2015,09:00 AM – 13:00 PM.
