HEC Paris Professors decode the news with "HEC Paris Insight" video series

27 June 2012

HEC Paris introduces a YouTube series in which HEC Professors discuss some of the major issues in the international news.

With a new video posted every month, our faculty will be at the heart of the news: In April we saw an in-depth analysis of the French presidential race, in May one of our Professors commented on the worldwide tax system…

And this month, Rodolphe Durand, Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris and co-author of The Pirate Organization: Lessons from the Fringes of Capitalism  (to be published in December 2012), analyzes issues raised by cyber piracy in terms of protection of copyrights laws and fundamental rights. He underlines the fact that, by defending a public cause, movements like Anonymous and organizations like Wikileaks raise questions about the traditional political offer.
