HEC's latest MOOC will reframe your relationship with organizations

5 November 2014

HEC Paris is launching its latest massive open online course (MOOC), ‘Time to reorganize! Understand organizations, act, and build a meaningful world’. Led by Rodolphe Durand, Professor of Strategy at HEC Paris, the course will start on 13 January 2015.

We are in constant relationships with multiple organizations, amidst an ever-changing world. As these organizations’ fortunes ebb and flow, understanding your relationships with them and why they succeed or fail will help you and those around you live more meaningful lives.

Led by Rodolphe Durand, GDF-Suez Professor of Strategy and Academic Director of the MSc in Strategic Management at HEC Paris, this MOOC explores the world of organizations, their legitimacy and competitive advantage, and how you relate to them.

With five to ten short videos per week and testimonials from top decision-makers, the six-week program includes different activities such as weekly quizzes, an interactive forum discussion, real-life cases you’ll have to analyze, several live video sessions, three actionable tools to decide what to change around you, a personal situation to work on, and more to be discovered. You can take the MOOC for free or opt for an authentified certification for $49.

The course is open to all, and the lectures have been designed to be self-sufficient. Anyone interested in the fields of management, sociology, strategy, economics, and leadership will find the course beneficial.

HEC Paris, the first business school in France to launch a MOOC on Coursera, is once again affirming its commitment to this innovative educational instrument.
