Pekka Honkanen is a PhD candidate in Finance at HEC Paris. Prior to joining HEC, he obtained a masters degree in economics from the Paris School of Economics and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Pekka’s research interests relate to market microstructure and asset pricing, and currently he studies liquidity movements and shocks in the financial markets.
