Lorna Davis at HEC Paris:
As explained in the enclosed press release, her mandate is “to lead the innovative, broad co-creation and company-wide deployment process of “Danone 2020”, a business transformation program designed for a sustainable, collaborative and community-engaging future. As a core part of this roadmap to strengthening the economic and social impact of its growth, engaging Danone’s 100,000 employees, Danone has decided to create a “Manifesto” to underpin the way the company intends to deliver its mission.” As Chief Manifesto Catalyst, Lorna Davis has been appointed to play a key role in supporting and coordinating the establishment of the Manifesto across Danone’s teams, and local communities the world over, with a view to maximize the potential of this process to catalyze bottom-up innovation.”
To optimize this meeting and the interaction with her we suggest you to read the Danone Case Study, written in 2011 by FREDERIC and BENEDICTE; which explains how Danone dealt with the integration of societal perspectives in its identity and strategy until 2011.
The interaction with Lorna will help us understand the new step and current approach of the firm, developed since the appointment of Emmanuel Faber as CEO in September 2014.
The rich discussion will help us reflect on the transformative power of organizations (and centers ;-))
