MSc Sustainability and Social Innovation
Class of 2016
Intern at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
During this year I had the chance to study with an outstanding and passionate group of people who share the same interests as me
Last year I graduated from Law at Bocconi University. During my legal studies I had the opportunity to participate in the Themis Program at Freie Universität in Berlin, intern in two different legal firms and write a thesis on workers’ conditions along global supply chains.
Where passion meets learning
Through my job, I always wanted to have a positive impact on society and to address urgent social and environmental issues. It is for these reasons that I decided to apply for the MSc in Sustainability and Social Innovation. The program offers a wide range of courses on environmental, social and economic perspectives with the objective of educating future sustainability experts, consultants, and managers. It also includes a consultancy project, a study trip and many other educational activities.
A platform for success
During this year I had the chance to study with an outstanding and passionate group of people who share the same interests as me. I have been exposed to several events related to sustainability and I had the opportunity to learn more on careers related to this specific sector. In particular, thanks to the consultancy project with Sodexo, I have witnessed how a multinational company can undertake responsible and sustainable actions and develop innovative initiatives, all whilst considering its economic goals and constraints.
Forming leaders of change
After graduation, I will work in the CSR department of a company or as a sustainability consultant. My ambition is to drive companies and managers towards a path of responsibility and social commitment, showing them that it is not only something important for the society and the environment but also for their economic prosperity. In particular, I would like to focus on the improvement of the conditions of under-privileged workers and the development of fair supply chains.
