IEA Competition: Be part of the European Industrial Excellence! - Call for Applications

Since 1995 the “Industrial Excellence Award” (IEA) competition benchmarks European competitiveness in the industrial and service sectors. This competition focuses on Strategy Deployment, that is, how organizations align distributed activities and knowledge to achieve common strategic goals.

HEC Paris would like to invite European companies to apply to join the group of our list of former winners, including giants such as Bentley, Airbus, BMW, Continental, John Deere and Siemens as well as small and medium-sized enterprises like the German aircraft seating manufacturer RECARO or the French pharmaceutical products manufacturer Stiplastics. All European business units using industrial techniques for their products or services are encouraged to take part in this large, international competition. The only conidition of entrance in that the business units (BUs) are be headquartered in a Western European country. Sister plants in Eastern Europe are also encouraged to apply. The competition takes place in parallel in France, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Turkey. A national winner and a select number of laureates in each country will be chosen by the jury. An overall champion will be selected during a management conference in the fall of 2016, and they will receive the “Industrial Excellence Award Europe”. The submission deadline for the application is mid-January 2016.

Participation is free of charge and all responses to this IEA application form will be kept strictly confidential. An international jury of operations management professors from our academic partners INSEAD, WHU, CJBS, IESE, IMD, Koç, RSM and TU/e will evaluate all responses anonymously. Each participant will receive personalized feedback.
