Biographie

Thomas Åstebro est L'Oreal Professeur de Entrepreneuriat à HEC Paris. Avant de rejoindre HEC, il a été Professeur Adjoint de stratégie à l'Université de Toronto après avoir été, entre 1994 et 2004, titulaire associé de la Chaire de Management du Changement Technologique à l'Université de Waterloo.

Les domaines de recherche de Thomas Åstebro portent sur le management du changement technologique et l'entrepreneuriat. Ses écrits ont été publiés récemment dans Management Science, RAND Journal of Economics and the Economic Journal. Il a également participé à la création de plusieurs entreprises et intervient en tant que consultant auprès d'entrepreneurs sur les thèmes du business planning et de la création d'entreprise.

Avant de rejoindre l'Université de Waterloo, Thomas Åstebro exerça en tant que consultant en management dans le domaine de la stratégie commerciale, et est intervenu auprès de grandes corporations telles que la Banque de Montreal, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce et Volvo, et d'institutions telles que The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Thomas Åstebro a obtenu son Doctorat de la Carnegie Mellon University. Il possède un Master d'Ingénieur et un MBA de la Chalmers University of Technology, en Suède.
