Biographie

Matthias EFING a obtenu son Ph.D. du Swiss Finance Institute et de l'Université de Genève en 2016 et est diplômé de l'équivalent allemand d'un Master of Science en administration des entreprises de l'université de Mannheim en Allemagne. Il est également chercheur affilié aux réseaux CEPR et CESifo. Ses principaux sujets de recherche sont l'intermédiation et la législation financières, ainsi que la finance d'entreprise empirique. Il a publié dans les revues telles que le Review of Financial Studies, le Journal of Financial Economics, le Review of Finance, le Review of Corporate Finance Studies et le Journal of International Economics. Ses travaux de recherche ont été évoqués par Le Temps, International Banker, NZZ, 24heures, Die Bank, ifo Schnelldienst et VoxEU. Ses publications ont remporté le SFS Cavalcade Asia-Pacific Award 2019, le ESRB Research prize en mémoire de Ieke van den Burg en 2016, le Best Paper Award du Finance Meeting de Paris en 2013, le Distinguished CESifo Affiliate Award en 2013, ainsi que le SFI Best Paper Doctoral Award en 2012 et 2015. Matthias enseigne la finance d’entreprise.
