Biographie

Daniel Martinez, Ph.D. est professeur associé en comptabilité et contrôle de gestion à HEC Paris. Ses recherches analysent comment la comptabilité et les systèmes d’information façonnent les organisations, les marchés et les mouvements sociaux. Il a mené des enquêtes de terrain au Guatemala, au Salvador et aux États-Unis, notamment sur les ONG de développement et sur la régulation du cannabis légal au Colorado.

Ses travaux ont été publiés dans des revues de premier plan telles que Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Accounting, Organizations and Society, European Accounting Review, et Journal of Business Ethics. Il est rédacteur associé de Critical Perspectives on Accounting et membre du comité de rédaction de Accounting, Organizations and Society.

À HEC Paris, il enseigne la comptabilité de gestion et le contrôle, ainsi que les méthodes de recherche qualitatives, en s’appuyant sur des exemples concrets pour réfléchir aux techniques de mesure de la performance utilisées par les managers.
