Biographie

Denisa Mindruta a obtenu un doctorat en Management Stratégique de l'University of Illinois à Urbana-Champaign. Elle possède un Master en Sciences Politiques de SUNY Stony Brook et un Bachelor's en Mathématiques et en Sociologie de l'Université de Bucarest. Avant de rejoindre HEC, elle a travaillé en tant que professeur-chercheur et consultante en Roumanie, en France et aux US.

Ses recherches et enseignements portent sur l'entrepreneuriat académique et d'entreprise, le management de la technologie (en particulier dans des contextes de « two-sided markets »), et l'économie politique de l'innovation. Ses recherches actuelles concernent plus particulièrement les activités entrepreneuriales mettant en scène des partenariats entre l'université et l'industrie.

Elle a reçu plusieurs prix, dont une Bourse Doctorale de la Fondation Ewing Marion Kauffman, une sélection en tant que finaliste de la INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Competition (2007), et le AOM Technology and Innovation Management Division Best Conference Paper Award (2008).
