Biographie

Ferdinand Petra is Associate Professor of Finance (ETF) at HEC Paris. He is as well the Co-Director of the HEC x Rothschild & Co Data and Impact Investment Chair (2023-2025).

Prof. Petra teaches several classes (corporate finance, M&A, LBO, financial modelling) in the Grande Ecole program (MiM), Master in International Finance and Executive MBA

He has been Executive Director of the Master in International Finance in 2015-2016. He is also in charge of coaching students and preparing them for future finance careers (with a focus on Investment Banking and Buy-side)

Prof. Petra began his career in M&A at J.P. Morgan both in London and Paris for 4 years, followed by 6 years as French Client coverage officer at Barclays Capital in Paris.

Prof. Petra conducts as well analyst training for banks, SWF and Corporates and does Executive Coaching (ferdinand-petra.com).

Ferdinand Petra graduated from the HEC MBA in 2002.
