Talia Zeineddine
Product and Trade Marketing
I’m writing you to express my deepest gratitude for the chance you’ve giving me. Thanks to you, I, and a lot of other people, got to be part of the most prestigious school in Europe.
My first year at HEC was filled with adventures, meeting new people from so many different cultures, being part of a community or elite students, challenging ourselves throughout the courses and extracurricular activities. Also, and I’m very proud to say it, what made this year most precious, is our own Lebanese community. Being part of HECèdres left us attached to our home country more than ever, and we tried as much as we could to show everyone on campus our beautiful community, our kindness, our fun and our amazing country through the Lebanese trip that happened in June.
In terms of career goals, I feel like I’m one step closer to finding what I want. I admire you for being the humble and well-known entrepreneur that you are. My long-term goal is to build my own company. Meanwhile, I’m getting the experience that I want. I landed my first internship in Nestle in trade marketing and e-commerce. This experience has been very insightful and being part of a company with impact, with a mission of health and well-being is very inspiring. I now move on to the cosmetics industry where I landed my second internship at Estee Lauder; an industry that I have been dreaming of being part of for a long time, it’s a passion of mine; also in marketing.
I’m still figuring out whether I want to work purely in marketing and what type of marketing as I’m a very analytical person and since I did a bachelor’s in business/finance, I want to find a place where I can strive at both being analytical and creative. My newest ambition is having an impact on people and on the planet, and for that I’ve applied to UNESCO x Women@dior mentorship program.
Again, I wouldn’t have these opportunities if I hadn’t moved here and been accepted to HEC. Thank you so much for making this experience seamless and worry-free!
I hope my letter shows how grateful I am, and I hope others like me can make you proud with their achievements.
Sincerely,
Talia Zeineddine
