HEC is a hub for cross-cultural learning, giving you the chance to broaden your horizons and try new things
Studying HEC Paris has been one of the best experiences of my life. HEC is a top business school, ranked second worldwide for its high quality teaching and superb networking prospects; career fairs with top leading companies such as JP Morgan, McKinsey and BNP Paribas are regularly organized.
Although the prospect of moving to another country was initially daunting, HEC Paris is an extremely welcoming place and quickly became a home away from home. I met so many kind, open-minded and inspiring people from all over the world with whom I had the most amazing parties, dinners and barbecues by the lake in the summer. For all these reasons, HEC is a hub for cross-cultural learning, giving you the chance to broaden your horizons and try new things.
Before coming to HEC, I had completed a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Engineering at UPC, but was unsure what career I wanted to pursue. After attending several Banking Events in Paris advertised by HEC Paris, and completing a spring internship at Nomura (London), I realized I was geared towards a career in Finance. Today, I work as an M&A Analyst at BNP Paribas in Paris, and in June I will join Morgan Stanley for a summer internship in IBD(Investment Banking Division). I have decided to spend my 3 months in between these jobs in Brazil, where I will coordinate a Sustainable Development project.
