Biographie

Augustin Landier est actuellement professeur de Finance à HEC. Il était précédemment Professeur à Toulouse School of Economics. Docteur en économie du Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Augustin Landier a enseigné à à New York University(2004-2009), à l’Universié de Chicago (2004-2009), a été chercheur résident au FMI (2009) et professeur invité à Princeton (2013) et Harvard Business School (2016); entre 2009 et 2016 il a été membre du Conseil d’Analyse Economique, organe qui conseille le Premier Ministre. Ses recherches portent sur la finance d’entreprise, l’économie comportementale, la gestion d’actifs, la théorie des organisations, l’économie bancaire. Il participe fréquemment au débat public; Il a recu le prix du meilleur jeune economiste en 2014 et a publié avec David Thesmar "Le grand Méchant Marché" (Flammarion 2007), "La Société Translucide" (Fayard 2010), qui a obtenu le prix Turgot en 2011, et récemment « 10 idées qui coulent la France » (Flammarion 2013).
