Master in Marketing
The program welcomes high potential students and recent graduates from around the world. The initial selection is based on the evaluation of all the application elements. Pre-selected students are then invited to a challenging interview via Zoom.
Master in Marketing
The HEC Master in Marketing program welcomes students who possess a high level of English, and from various academic backgrounds.
Candidates can apply to one of two tracks:
Consumer Goods and Luxury Track : Focused on traditional marketing areas like consumer behavior, retail, luxury management, etc.
Product Mangaement and Tech Track : Designed for tech-driven students aspiring to excel in product-led growth and customer-centric innovation
Please note that students applying during their final year of studies must complete all coursework prior to the program start date

Candidates must submit all required application documents before the application deadline. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure their application is complete.Our Admissibility Jury will decide who will be invited to the interview stage on the basis of the information submitted by the candidate by the application deadline. Any documents uploaded or sent after the application deadline will not be considered, unless they have been requested by a member of the Admissions Team.
Admissible candidates are candidates who have been invited to an interview.
Interview with Program Director, HEC Staff, and/or an HEC Alumni
All admissible candidates will be invited to join a 30 minute online interview, held on Zoom.Candidates are encouraged to discuss their unique background, motivation, interests, and goals during this interview.
All interviews for the Master in Marketing program are held in English..
- Admission Decision
Admission decisions will be communicated directly on the application portal. All admission decisions are final.
All documents must be submitted before the application deadline for each round. All documents must be in translated into either English or French.
For current students: upload an official attestation issued by your university, confirming your enrollment for the current academic year.
For recent graduates: upload your diploma(s) for all completed degrees.
All official academic transcripts obtained in a higher education institution (exchange programs included). Please note that students currently pursuing a master's degree are required to upload both their master's and bachelor's degree transcripts
Your résumé should be limited to one page.
GMAT and GMAT Focus: Upload a screenshot of your results to your application and send your official score report to our institution via mba.com
GRE: Upload your test taker score report to your application and send your scores via ETS using code 3623. A department code is not required.
TageMage: upload your results directly to your application.
All candidates are required to submit proof of English language proficiency.
English Proficiency Exam: upload a copy of your scores for either the TOEIC (all four parts), TOEFL, IELTS ibt, or Cambridge exam to your application where required.
Please refer to our FAQs for the school codes to submit your official exam scores.
Proficiency tests are waived for the following candidates:
English natives: upload a scanned copy of the first-page of your passport.
Prior Degree Taught in English: Upload a statement of language of instruction issued by your university.
Please note that only students who have completed their entire degree in English will be exempt from submitting an English proficiency exam.
Candidates must independently complete the required program-specific essay questions before submitting their application.
To view the essay questions, first select the program to which you will apply and save this information on your application.
Confidential online reference forms must be submitted via the application portal before the deadline for each round.
One academic reference is required. Your second reference can either be academic or professional.
We recommend asking for references at least four (4) weeks before the application deadline.
Provide a passport-style photo. A passport-style photo is a photo with a white, or neutral background. You should also be facing forward and looking at the camera.
Non-refundable application fee of €170.
