#WEAREHEC: Meet Mathilde Savant-Ros, HEC Paris Marketing Student
A luxury and sports enthusiast, meet Mathilde Savant-Ros, an HEC MSc Marketing student who aims one day to become CMO of a coveted fashion house.
My name is Mathilde Savant-Ros. I was born in Paris and grew up in the suburbs until I was 18. I then moved to Switzerland in order to pursue my Bachelor degree in International Hospitality Management at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL).
After the completion of my Bachelor’s at EHL, where I found my passion for marketing, I sought to further develop my marketing skills. So as to benefit from best education, I applied to HEC.
What amazes me most about HEC is the strength of its alumni network. You can genuinely find a former HEC student in any company or industry willing to share their experience.
My favorite experience so far has been attending my major courses such as Strategic Marketing or Strategic Brand Management. This is undoubtedly due to the high-quality content delivered by my inspiring Academic Director and thesis’ tutor, Gachoucha Kretz.
I intend to kickstart my career in a large established luxury company in product management. Thereafter, I aim to become Chief Marketing Officer, followed by the completion of an MBA to reach the coveted position of CEO of a renowned fashion house.
Always seeking new challenges and curious-minded, I thrive on stepping out of my comfort zone by constantly learning from others.
Sport is an integral part of my daily life; I run three times a week and regularly play tennis. One of my personal projects is to run a marathon this year, hence the need to follow a strict weekly schedule.
Passionate about fashion, I constantly seek to refine my knowledge about its history, trends, main actors, designs and key figures. This passion enabled me to be selected for the prestigious LVMH Chair, an opportunity to immerse myself even more in the sector’s DNA.
