Biographie

Tristan Tomala a étudié à l'ENSAE avant d'entreprendre une thèse en mathématiques appliquées sur la théorie des jeux à l'Université Paris 1 soutenue en 1996. Avant de rejoindre HEC Paris, il était maitre de conférences à l'Université Paris Dauphine, ou il a soutenu son Habilitaton à Diriger des Recherches (HdR) en mathématiques appliquées. Ses recherches portent sur la théorie des jeux et notamment sur les aspects dynamiques et informationels. En particulier, ses travaux étudient la transmission stratégique d'information dans les jeux répétés et les liens avec la théorie de l'information, la théorie des graphes et la cryptographie.

Il a publié récemment dand Games and Economic Behavior, Mathematics of Operations Research, Theoretical Economics, Journal of Economic Theory.


A HEC, il enseigne l'économie d'entreprise, la microéconomie et la théorie des jeux en première année de grande école, en majeure économie et QEF et au programme doctoral.

Tristan Tomala est éditeur associé pour Operations Research Letters (Area Editor), Dynamic Games and Applications et Theory and Decision.
