The Demo Day of HEC Paris' Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center is the flagship event of the year to discover the latest innovations and entrepreneurial trends of the new generation of entrepreneurs. This year, for the very first time, the Demo Day will take place within the Paris-Saclay SPRING.
About the Demo Day
This annual event showcases the most promising projects from our students, selected from the MSc X-HEC Entrepreneurs and HEC Launchpad programs. The Demo Day is also an opportunity to discover the most innovative ideas and meet the future leaders of the industry.
This day promises to be even more exceptional since the Demo Day will be included in the Paris-Saclay SPRING, a must-attend innovation event in the Paris-Saclay cluster. During Paris-Saclay SPRING, you can exchange with experienced investors and entrepreneurs, discover cutting-edge technologies, and be inspired by the creativity of the participants.

- SPRING 50: 50 exhibiting start-ups, including 25 selected for the pitch contest

Bonus: the SPRING 50, the selection of the 50 promising startup of the territory to follow!
Since 2021, Paris-Saclay has been honoring 50 start-ups each year that are from or linked to its innovation ecosystem. They must have a deeptech project related to Paris-Saclay's 6 strategic sectors (foodtech, mobility, digital technologies, greentech, health-biotech, newspace).
Each promotion is sponsored by a prominent entrepreneur from the area: Gary Anssens, founder of Alltricks, and David Khuat-Duy, President-founder of Ivalua, were the sponsors of the previous two promotions. This year, Jean-Luc Maria, CEO, and co-founder of Exotrail, is coming on board and becoming the sponsor of the 2023 promotion.
The 50 selected start-ups will benefit from:
- an exhibition booth at one of the thematic villages;
- access to business meetings;
- an exclusive workshop to share experience with the 2023 sponsor and the French Tech Paris-Saclay capital;
- an English pitch coaching session.
Among the selected start-ups, 25 will be chosen to pitch in English on June 1st, 2023 and present their activity live on the Paris-Saclay SPRING stage. For the selected startups, Paris-Saclay SPRING offers concrete results with 5,000 business meetings organized in 2022 and over 140 million euros raised by the startups from the 2021 and 2022 SPRING 50 promotions.
