The HEC and EHL program in Luxury Hospitality Management offers a unique learning experience in Switzerland and France. Both universities provide the best learning opportunities in their fields, HEC in Luxury Management and EHL in Hospitality Management. For me, it was a perfect start to learn more about the luxury industry, especially as I was due to start my Master in Luxury Management in Monaco one month later.

The professors at HEC are very experienced professors who can give you advice on how to enter the luxury industry, what to look out for and how to build a luxury brand. My personal highlight was the group presentation of our luxury gastronomy concept "Omega Moon Lounge" on the last day of the program. It was a pleasure to meet the people in my course and form friendships. One professor said that this course is like the UN: each nationality was there only once, but from all over the world with many different characters.

I really enjoyed hearing stories from professionals in the luxury industry, learning more about how to develop concepts for luxury hotel experiences and discovering new trends in the sector. Especially at EHL, where we gained further insight into the hospitality industry through field trips such as a visit to a family-run five-star hotel and a wine tasting where we learned more about the key characteristics of a luxury wine. 

I would highly recommend the course to students and professionals of all fields of study who are interested in luxury entrepreneurship, hospitality concepts and creating customer loyalty.
