Biography

Christine Guerlain, chartered accountant and holder of an ESCP-EAP degree, is an affiliate professor at HEC Paris, where she teaches financial accounting to third year students in the Grande Ecole, MBA and other Masters programs. She was Director of the Specialized Masters in Auditing for 7 years and now heads the Major in IFAC (Financial Information, Audit and Consulting). In 2003 and 2010, she was awarded the Vernimmen Prize for outstanding teaching abilities among the faculty of HEC Paris.

After 8 years as an auditor with Deloitte, she has now spent the last 15 years working as a teacher, first at CEGOS in vocational training, then at ESCP-EAP, and then at HEC Paris. In 1986, she was the winner of the “Prix Caujolle” for the best chartered accounting dissertation in France, and has contributed to the books Comptabilité financière de l'entreprise from Editions Montchrestien, and Manuels de gestion from Editions Ellipses/AUF.
