S&O Lunch Seminar: Climate Insights from the IPCC and European Research

The Sustainability & Organizations Institute is organizing the first lunch seminar of the academic year, taking place on Thursday, October 9th, 2025, at 12:00 pm in Room T001, HEC Paris Campus.
For this special kick-off session, we are delighted to welcome Fernando Díaz Lopez, Executive Director of the S&O Climate and Earth Center and recently appointed Lead Author for the “Industry” chapter of the IPCC's (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Seventh Assessment Report. Fernando will share insights into the IPCC’s work- the world’s leading scientific body and its crucial role in shaping international climate policy.
He will further present an overview of one of the Horizon Europe projects led by the Climate and Earth Center, illustrating how European research initiatives can inform the IPCC and other relevant bodies.
The seminar will also be an opportunity to share updates on the S&O Institute’s activities and initiatives for the upcoming academic year.
