Mala Banerjee

Research Associate & Guest Lecturer

Mala Banerjee brings over twenty years of experience in executive education and organizational transformation, working closely with global companies such as Porsche, BMW, LG Electronics, Reliance, Heineken and Unilever. She partners with senior leaders as they navigate complex strategic change, with a focus on governance, alignment and long-term, sustainable impact.

Born in Burma and having lived and worked in India, the United States and France, Mala draws on international perspective in her work with leaders and organizations. She began her career as a journalist in regional newspapers in the United States before moving into corporate communications in the pharmaceutical industry, where she developed a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement and organizational dynamics.

She holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and is an alumna of Louisiana State University and INSEAD’s Transition to General Management Program. Over the years, she has contributed to executive education programs at HEC Paris, INSEAD and The Wharton School, as well as partnership programs with MIT Sloan.

Currently, she serves as Academic Coordinator for top management programs at Porsche in Stuttgart, supporting the company’s transformation journey. She also supports HEC Paris faculty in research and business case writing and has taught organizational change in EMBA and custom programs at ESSEC, Mannheim Business School and ETH Zurich.
