Maud Clerc
Maud Clerc is the editor-in-chief of Dare. As part of the Communications Department at HEC Paris, she leads digital and content strategy with a team of experts, architects, and contributors of the HEC Media Hub.
Maud’s curiosity is fueled by figuring out how we can work, think, live, and consume information in a digital age defined by constant distraction.
She is particularly interested in how digital media and platforms shape opinions, influence behaviors, and disrupt democracy. This reflection drives her ambition to contribute to a more informed public debate through valuable content and to resist algorithmic logics that act as poison for the brain.
Exploring AI and its future impact, she actively experiments with these technologies in communications and marketing, with one objective: enhancing the value of human insight and making the most of our cognitive capacities for better — not more — productivity.
A Deep Work advocate, following Cal Newport’s philosophy, she seeks to rethink the way we work in an era of communication overload and a busyness epidemic — to create the conditions for true focus and fulfilment.
A podcast lover — especially very early in the morning — her favorite shows include Deep Questions, Hard Fork, Huberman Lab, Feel Better Live More, The Knowledge Project, AI Explored, and The Mel Robbins Podcast.
