Double Degree in Law and Diplomacy HEC - Fletcher

Master in Management

The Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) at the Fletcher’s School aims to train students to develop sharp knowledge in the latest political, economic, business, and legal thinking, and to translate it into practical, successful actions that shape international issues and events. As rigorous as it is flexible, the curriculum provides a wide range of skillsets that will help students to distinguish themselves in their career in International Relations.

Education at the Fletcher’s School is founded upon a high flexibility: students have the opportunity to tailor-design their program according to their personal and professional goals. They have access to a wide array of courses across the school’s three divisions: International Law and Organizations; Diplomacy, History and Politics; and Economics and International Business.

Students gain depth of knowledge in their chosen area of interest by completing two Fields of Study, which they select from a range of 24 different possible concentrations (as well as the ability to “Self-Design” a specific Field).

The breadth required enables them to develop a broad foundational knowledge of international affairs.
