About External Funding
Based on your nationality, you may be eligible for external scholarships and loans. The list below is not exhaustive, and we invite you to investigate what additional opportunities may be available.
We highly recommend all international applicants to research regional Campus France scholarships available in their home country.
Please note:
- HEC Paris is not responsible for the outcomes related to scholarships or financial aid provided by external institutions.
- Candidates are solely responsible for verifying the conditions, eligibility criteria, and disbursement procedures of external funding sources.
- HEC Paris cannot intervene in the application, allocation, or management processes of external scholarships and loans.

FRANCE EXCELLENCE EUROPA SCHOLARSHIP
ELIGIBILITY
The France Excellence Europa Scholarship is open to European Union nationals between 18 – 26 at the time of application
Note: French nationals (including bi-nationals); and those with a French higher education degree (or currently enrolled in a French higher education institution) are not eligible to apply.
AMOUNT AWARDED
- Half-yearly allowance of 6,850 euros
- One-time installation of 1,700 euros
- Additional benefits such as registration fee exemptions, health insurance, etc.

LOANS
Most banks will provide loans to study at HEC Paris to French nationals, or residents with pre-established banking credentials at very low interest rates. We have excellent relationships with local branches of national banks. Most banks will require a financial guarantor from France or based in the EU in rare occasions.

Furthermore, information sessions with bank representatives are organized on campus every year during the first 3 weeks of September.
Prodigy Finance is a financial services company that offers international student loans and limited scholarships to students pursuing higher education at global universities.
Lendwise is a specialist loan provider based in London (UK). It enables access to education via:
- Affordable and flexible student loans.
- Fixed interest rates.
- No early repayment penalties.
Interest rates are personalized and depend on an applicant’s overall profile including future earning potential, and the application process is entirely online. Full-time program students have access to a grace period that allows for repayment to start after graduation.
All postgraduate courses at HEC, on both full-time and part-time basis, are eligible. UK, EU and North American nationals are eligible for a Lendwise Loan. For other nationalities, Lendwise will review your application on a case-by-case basis.
Credila offers specialized loan programs for Indian students aiming to study abroad. Applicants are required to have an Indian citizen as a co-signer, and the loan repayment is made in Indian Rupees.
HEC’s Indian admitted students and applicants are able to access 90% of the education loan lending market with a click of a button via GradRight’s Fundright platform. Loans are offered to Indian nationals on FundRight by banks, NBFCs, and international lenders.
HEC does not charge any fee from students or GradRight for this service.
Supported by the Ministry of IT, the We Make Scholars platform assists Indian students in securing education loans for their studies abroad
