Biography

After a Ph.D. in 'Mathematical Economics and Econometrics' from University of Aix-Marseille III, Mohammed Abdellaoui joined the CNRS in 1992 as a researcher. He was then promoted to Directeur de Recherche at CNRS in 2001. Three years ago, he joined HEC Paris as a researcher at GREGHEC, and Affiliate Professor of Decision Sciences.

Mohammed Abdellaoui is a specialist in risk & time perception and modeling for individual decisions and in the organizations. He has published numerous theoretical and empirical papers in top international journals including the American Economic Review, Econometrica, Management Science, Journal of Econometrics, The Economic Journal, Journal of Risk and Uncertainty and Review of Economic Psychology.

He is currently collaborating with researchers from different countries (Erasmus, the Netherlands, Nottingham, United Kingdom; Northwestern, USA). He co-edited books on recent advances in risk and uncertainty modeling and is the Editor-in-Chief of Theory and Decision, a multidisciplinary international journal.
