François CAZALS

François Cazals is an Affiliate Professor at HEC Paris where he teaches marketing and digital strategy in Executive Education programs for managers and executives. He is also the Academic Director for several HEC Paris Executive Education custom programs on digital marketing.

François holds a Master degree from NEOMA Business School in France. His areas of expertise include marketing strategy and innovation (Blue Ocean Strategy, Jugaad innovation, new business models…) and digital strategy (digital marketing, CRM, digital transformation, Big Data…). He is the author of several books, research papers and articles in these specific areas. Most notably he published “Strategies digitales” Editions De Boeck, in 2014.

Before joining HEC Paris, François was an Adjunct Professor at ISC Paris Business School and Academic Director of the ISC MBA. He also teaches at Paris Nanterre University.

François is a former navy officer and worked as a Sales and Marketing Director for leading groups in with the retail and consumer goods industry for 11 years. This experience enabled him to develop in-depth know-how of the marketing and digital challenges facing major groups, from both a B2B and B2C perspective. He set up his own consultancy agency in marketing and digital strategy 17 years ago.

As well as his teaching activities HEC Paris Executive Education, François works actively as a consultant for major companies and SMEs, primarily in the field of digital strategy.

François Cazals was awarded the SMBG-EDUNIVERSAL prize for pedagogy in 2014.
