Ghina CHAMMAS

I am a 5th year PhD student at HEC Paris, specializing in Strategy & Business Policy. My research explores the antecedents and consequences of CEO activism; what drives business leaders to take public stances on social, environmental, and political issues, and how these stances shape firms, stakeholders, and society.

I hold an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London. Building on a solid foundation in environmental research, I transitioned to the field of business to examine whether—and how—corporate actors, through nonmarket strategies, can meaningfully address global sustainability challenges.
