Biography

Christopher Hogg is an Affiliate Professor at the marketing department. After being graduated of HEC in 1992 and obtaining a DEA in Industrial Organization at Paris IX Dauphine in 1994, he began his career in the business delegation of Fret SNCF (Freight division of the French railway). It then integrated Sernam in May 1997 first as Marketing Director and two years later as Business Development Director. In 2001, he joined Geodis to successively perform the following missions: implementation of the group sales organization for Key Accounts, Telecom Key Account managers, Market Line Director for FMCG, Group Key Account Director (covering all business lines, markets and geographical area) and finally Deputy Managing Director in charge of Central Europe and Eastern Europe. Since August 2008 he leads Sildorex-Lurex a global SME specializing in textile and metallic yarns owner of the leading brand in its field Lurex®. In October 2016, SIldorex did launch a new B2C Retail Brand Maison Lurex.

He has joined HEC Paris since 1998 first as a visiting professor and since 2008 as an affiliate professor of the Marketing department, intervening both at the Grande Ecole and at HEC Executive in French and International programs. He is the scientific director of the Executive Master MUST in Paris, of the Executive Certificate MUST and of the Executive Certificate Leadership & Entrepreneurship.

He is also the author of two books "Le Manager Anticrise, Changer pour rétablir la confianc " published by Dunod (April 2012) and also " Le Management du Client " published by Eyrolles.
