Biography
Olivier Klein is the CEO of BRED since September 2012. He was previously CEO of Banque Commerciale & Assurances and a Board Member of BPCE since April 2010. He is also an administrator for Natixis Asset Management and Nexity.
He first held several high-ranking positions at BFCE (Banque Française du Commerce Extérieur), for whom he created and managed the investment bank specialized in mergers & acquisitions and private equity.
He then joined the Caisse d'Epargne Group in 1998, and served as Chairman of the Board of Caisse d'Epargne Ile-de-France Ouest from 2000 to 2007, then of Caisse d'Epargne Rhône Alpes until 2010.
He graduated from the Ecole Nationale de Statistiques et de l'Administration Economique (ENSAE) and the advanced finance cycle at HEC. He is an Affiliate Professor of economics and finance at HEC and co-manages the Economics Major and the « Managerial and Financial Economics » Master's program.
