Biography
Jacqueline Laufer holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University.
Jacqueline Laufer's research and teaching interests are in the field of Human Resource Management, Sociology of organizations, and equal opportunities between men and women within organizations. She has done research on women in management and on equal opportunities strategies within firms. She works as an expert for the European Economic Community in the field equal opportunity.
She has published articles in the following journals : Droit Social, The Revue Française de Gestion, Feminist Economics. Jacqueline Laufer has also contributed several chapters in books. She is presently co-Director (with C. Marry, CNRS) of the CNRS Network " Mage ", a European network of researchers dealing with the issue of gender and the labour market. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal " Travail, Genre et Société ".
