CDL-Paris 2024/25 Graduate Companies

Over the past year, more than 630 companies joined Creative Destruction Lab around the world, tapping into the expertise of 1,000+ mentors. These ventures challenged the limits of deeptech, advancing tech innovations for the better. Now, let’s celebrate those who finished the journey: over 230 deep-tech ventures graduated from CDL’s 2024/25 cycle, an important milestone on their path to success.

Among those 230 graduated ventures, 38 came through CDL-Paris. Focused on artificial intelligence, climate solutions, next-gen computing, and space technologies, these startups embody the ambition to turn cutting-edge research into scalable innovation. Let’s meet the graduates!

CDL-Paris Artificial Intelligence (2024/25)

The Artificial Intelligence stream at CDL-Paris is made for startup founders who are seeking industrial applications to the new capabilities to structure information, predict patterns, and solve problems, provided by the latest developments in Machine Learning and AI technologies.

CDL-Paris Climate (2024/25)

CDL-Paris Climate is aimed at founders of deeptech startups developing scalable solutions for environmental protection. The stream focuses on assessing natural resources and optimizing the use of technologies to transform them in clean and sustainable ways. 

Example innovation areas: Water, Land, Energy, Biodiversity, Atmosphere, Manufacturing, Built Environment, Computing, Resource Distribution.

Altrove combines AI-driven material prediction with automated lab validation to rapidly develop alternative materials for resource-critical industries like aerospace, EVs, and wind power, delivering faster, scalable breakthroughs where competitors stop at simulation.

BLUEFINS develops whale-inspired hydrofoils that retrofit onto existing cargo ships, cutting fuel use by over 20% and delivering a fast 2–5 year ROI, making it the only wave-assisted propulsion system tailored to the needs of global shipping.

CDL Next Gen Computing (2024/25)

CDL-Paris Next Generation Computing is aimed at founders centered on the exploration of the new computing concepts and algorithms required to unlock the full potential of computing power and reduce energy consumption. 

Example innovation areas: High-Performance Computing, Quantum Computing, Photonics, Neuromorphic Computing, Edge Computing, Quantum Algorithms, Neural Network Algorithms, Cybersecurity Algorithms

LumiSync revolutionizes data processing by developing Photonic Integrated Circuits powered by the world’s first 100% photonic oscillator.

Neurobus harnesses neuromorphic computing to deliver bio-inspired AI systems that combine adaptability and efficiency for breakthrough performance in mission-critical applications.

CDL-Paris Carbon Removal (2024/25)

The CDL Carbon Removal program was launched in partnership with XPRIZE along with the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and HEC Paris to help ventures from the top 100 finalists accelerate their commercial potential.

Example innovation areas: Carbon Sequestration, Biochar, Carbon Mineralization, Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS), Afforestation and Reforestation, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)...

Captura provides a simple, streamlined process for large-scale Direct Ocean Capture of carbon.

Gigablue

Gigablue deploys a science-driven Marine Carbon Fixation and Sinking (MCFS) technology to help corporations and governments remove gigatons of CO₂ by exporting carbon to the deep ocean, offering a scalable, nature-inspired solution to achieve net-zero goals.

Skyrenu

Skyrenu accelerates the fight against climate change by deploying modular, energy-efficient, direct air capture systems that safely and sustainably remove CO₂ from the atmosphere and store it on-site, making carbon removal scalable and more accessible.

CDL Space (2024/25)

The Space stream of Creative Destruction Lab is designed for deep tech founders pursuing commercial space opportunities, addressing the inherent challenges of accessing and utilizing space sustainably, with a focus on ensuring the long-term viability of space activities. The program is supported by CDL-Toronto, CDL-Paris, and now CDL-Texas, and CDL-Milan.
