Peter Todd is a Professor at HEC Paris and serves as the Director General and Dean. He is an expert in the organization, management and use of information technology to deliver business value.
Professor Todd has over 40 published works on information technology and innovation management that have been cited more than 25,000 times.
Over his career, he has taught and led degree programs, executive education and research centers in management. He has over 20 years of senior leadership experience as a Chief Executive, Dean, Associate Dean, Program and Centre Director at prominent universities in Canada, the US and France.
Prior to joining HEC Paris in 2015 Professor Todd served as Dean of McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management from 2005 to 2014. Prior to McGill he was a Chaired Professor at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and served as Associate Dean for Graduate Programs. Before that Professor Todd was Associate Dean at the University of Houston Bauer College of Business where he also led the Information Systems Research Centre. Professor Todd also served on the faculty at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where he was Director of the Research and Ph.D. programs in the Queen’s School of Business.
Peter Todd holds a bachelor degree in Commerce from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia.
