Having had the opportunity to benefit from excellent training, it was essential for me that others also benefit from it. Therefore, supporting the quality of education and training provided in schools at a time when schools must be self-financing and inclusive actions to reach all talents regardless of the social category to which they belong is quickly emerged as an unavoidable duty. His biography:
Graduate of HEC Paris and a DESS in Business Law and Taxation at the University Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) in 2003, a DEA in Civil Law at the University Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) in 2004 and the Ecole Française du Barreau (EFB) in 2004, Lionel Dechmann is a partner in the Finance Department in the Paris office of Latham & Watkins. He has extensive experience in financing and is particularly involved in acquisition financing, real estate financing, corporate financing, refinancing, and debt restructuring.
He advises financial institutions as well as investment funds and large industrial groups.
In 2014, Lionel Dechmann was awarded the "HEC Jurist of the Year Award" by the School for his impressive and inspiring career in the legal field. Lionel Dechmann has been involved with the HEC Foundation since 2008.
