Academic Director: Benjamin GABAY

A finance innovator and entrepreneur, Benjamin Gabay specializes in Decentralized Finance and Entrepreneurship. Mr. Gabay has been teaching Entrepreneurship and Finance since 2018 and has served as a guest lecturer at prestigious institutions such as HEC Paris, ESSEC and ESCP. In addition to his role as Academic Director of the HEC Paris FinTech Summer School, his academic contributions at HEC include teaching in the Digital Entrepreneurship Certificate program, the MBA Specialization in Data-IA, and the Digital elective course within the Master X-HEC Entrepreneurship program. He has founded and scaled transformative ventures, including a Decentralized Hedge Fund and a Quantitative Venture Capital firm, driving innovation across global markets.

With a career spanning Lebanon, Iraq, France, India, and the United States, Mr. Gabay brings extensive international experience to his work. He has led impactful collaborations with some of the world’s most influential organizations, including sovereign funds and research labs like ADIA Lab, the research arm of Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund.

In recent years, Benjamin has focused on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and finance, pioneering the application of Generative AI and quantitative methodologies in investment strategies. His work has contributed to cutting-edge advancements in financial technology and decentralized systems. Through his entrepreneurial ventures and academic contributions, Mr. Gabay continues to shape the future of finance, inspiring the next generation of leaders at HEC Paris.
