Since the beginning of the pandemic, HEC Paris has been committed to implementing all the measures necessary so that our students can continue their academic journey in the best conditions possible, and the HEC Foundation was able to count on the strength and solidarity of the HEC Alumni community to support students in need.
Supporting students and HEC Paris in a time of crisis
The HEC Foundation’s core mission is to enable HEC Paris to invest in high-impact projects. Over the last 10 years, our priority has also been to guarantee that the School does not present a financial barrier to all talented students, irrespective of their social background or geographical origin.
Solidarity funds created
To meet the urgent needs of students born of the Covid crisis, the HEC Foundation quickly set up and released a budget to create:
Covid Emergency Fund
Libanese Solidarity Fund
Mobilisation and solidarity of our community
These two initiatives allowed the students concerned to continue their studies in the best conditions possible despite the situation. A big thank you to those who helped them through our action.
This sanitary crisis has an increasing impact on social fragmentation that we can already measure. Scholarships applications on social grounds have grown by 15 % at HEC Paris compared to automn 2019 with already 320 applications registered.
We are appealing to the mobilisation and solidarity of our community to continue to support these students in difficulty, but also to guarantee continuity in the aid we provide each year to students on all the HEC Paris programs ( Master's program, MBA program, PHD Program).
A big thank you from Maria

« The health crisis turned my life as a student upside-down. Within 24 hours, I found myself isolated. I had to adapt my learning, and the start of my internship was postponed. The support I have received from the HEC Foundation means that I don’t have to worry financially and can continue my studies more calmly. I would like to thank the Foundation’s patrons from the bottom of my heart. They have given me another chance to prepare my future. They make me proud to belong to the HEC community. »
